Goodbye Google, Hello Perplexity

A Game-Changing Gadget: Rabbit R1

With my recent pre-order of the Rabbit R1, the AI gadget that was all the rage at the last CES, I’ve had a pleasant surprise: a one-year Pro subscription to Perplexity Pro. It’s valued at $200 and considering that the Rabbit R1 costs less, I can say that this deal has already paid off for me.

Perplexity.ai: An Intelligent Search Engine

Perplexity.ai is an intelligent search engine that provides you with solutions and not just search results. With copilot mode, it uses GPT-4 or Claude-2 and goes a step further, performing searches and scraping of results and understanding the question and content deeply.

My First Impressions

I’ve been using it for a few days now, and I barely remember Google. The responses it gives are quite good. The code examples work on the first try and I don’t notice any bad practices or security flaws.

Final Thoughts

In the end, I think that Google is going to have to really step up its game if it wants to maintain its reign. The future looks promising and I can’t help but feel excited about what’s coming. We’ll see!
