My Habit Goals for 2024
Introduction
Usually, at the beginning of the year, we tend to set ourselves new challenges or resolutions. Ever since I read Atomic Habits, I adopted its philosophy: don’t set goals, set new habits that will lead you to achieve those goals as a result. I am fascinated by that idea of defining the person you want to be and developing the habits that will lead you there. That includes getting rid of bad habits that lead nowhere (like the endless scrolling on Instagram or TikTok).
Habits from 2023
Already in the past year 2023, I started with the habit of reading at least one chapter of the current book every day, posting a daily blog post on this blog, exercising (almost) every day, watching content in English without subtitles, and dedicating slots or “pills” to tasks I consider “boring”.
Goals for 2024
For this 2024, my goals are clear. I will maintain these habits, especially increasing physical exercise, which has been making me feel better and better, and add a new habit: dedicate pills to automate more tasks thanks to AI. Thanks to AI, I’ve already been able to publish a daily article from Telegram in just a few minutes. I know I can automate many tasks in my day-to-day life, so I’m going for it. And of course, I will be commenting here on those advances.
Habits to eliminate
On the list of habits to eliminate, it would be good to increase concentration by removing distractions like ForoCoches (yes, I’m a shur) and other websites that I visit too much. I also have to be brave and make tough decisions about the projects I have active. But we’ll talk about that later.
Conclusion
