My Experience as a Jury Member in the 4th Edition of the Ideas Factory by UGR

One presented idea

Last Saturday, November 17th, I had the opportunity to serve as a jury member at the 4th Edition of the Ideas Factory organized by the University of Granada (UGR). It was an exciting event where UGR students presented their innovative ideas that they had come up with and worked on in just 48 hours.

A total of 7 ideas were presented, all very well executed. I was impressed by the level of presentation and the validation of the ideas. In many cases, the students had contacted potential clients and interested parties and had worked on their proposals in a very professional manner.

One crucial aspect that I want to highlight is the importance of presenting the idea effectively and within the assigned time. Participants only had 5 minutes to present their ideas. This challenge underscores the importance of being concise and clear, capturing the essence of the idea, and transmitting it effectively.

The winning idea was “Humble” a social network designed to help us avoid procrastination. The motivation behind Humble stems from the fact that we often find ourselves trapped in the endless “scroll” on social media, which interferes with our ability to concentrate. If we share our goals with a community, we feel more committed to achieving them. That is the idea behind Humble, and it really seems promising.

Audience

I hope that some of these ideas can take shape with the help of the great team of teachers and the UGR Emprendedora family.
