I have to admit that the classes on Lean Startup are my favorites. It’s been many years since I first came across it and began to put it into practice for my projects.
Customer Development The session was divided into two classes. The first day was dedicated to introducing Customer Development, the manifesto devised by Steve Blank. This approach puts the customer at the center of business development, seeking to understand their needs and problems before developing the solution.
Last Tuesday, February 6, a historic event took place in the LinkedIn community in Granada. Four entrepreneurs and friends managed to turn a dream into the greatest of successes: filling the auditorium of the Parque de las Ciencias with enthusiastic locals and guests from this social network.
Event Organization The Linked Lunch, the event’s name, mixed training, fun, and of course, networking. Although it started half an hour late due to a farmers’ strike, it then went smoothly.
Design and 3D Printing It all started with the design of a 3D piece that allowed us to easily create gates using semi-transparent PVC tubing. After printing a few pieces, we decided to meet last Saturday to assemble some and see how the experience went.
Assembly and Testing The truth is it was amazing. Building and assembling the gates was a rewarding experience, and we can’t wait to have the full circuit ready.
This weekend, I finally had the opportunity to try out the Meta Quest 3 for work. Taking advantage of some very atypical weather for January, I was on the coast. Normally, I bring a Macbook Air and an external monitor to work or research during the weekend. It was time to test the Meta Quest 3.
The App: Meta Quest Horizon Workrooms I used the “Meta Quest Horizon Workrooms” app, which is still in beta.
ForoCoches can be a “toxic” place, but occasionally they surprise us. They had the great idea to invite Jaime García-Obregón, a well-known activist for public transparency, to answer questions. I was fortunate enough to ask him some technical questions, and I’ve decided to share his answers in the form of a “deferred interview”.
JM: Hello, Jaime. I’ve been following you for a while, and I want to say that you are brave.
A Game-Changing Gadget: Rabbit R1 With my recent pre-order of the Rabbit R1, the AI gadget that was all the rage at the last CES, I’ve had a pleasant surprise: a one-year Pro subscription to Perplexity Pro. It’s valued at $200 and considering that the Rabbit R1 costs less, I can say that this deal has already paid off for me.
Perplexity.ai: An Intelligent Search Engine Perplexity.ai is an intelligent search engine that provides you with solutions and not just search results.
Last January 19, 2024, we had one of the most anticipated sessions of the year by all the members that are part of the EDIAE MBA: the selection of projects for the Master’s Thesis (TFM).
It was the first time I was involved in this particular and important class and I was lucky enough to have the great Alberto Sánchez accompany me. In fact, he was practically the master of ceremonies.
Meta Quest 3 has become one of the most popular options for virtual reality. However, if you use it constantly, you might realize that some accessories are really necessary to improve the experience. In this post, I’m going to talk about two that I consider essential.
Battery and Ergonomics First, let’s talk about the battery. With frequent use, you’ll notice that its duration is limited. It seems one option is to use a long USB-C cable, but this can be uncomfortable if you move around often.
The Idea In the year 2005, my studies in Computer Engineering were coming to an end and a final challenge presented itself to me: the end-of-degree project. At that time, the Sony PlayStation 2 was the video game console that dominated the market, present in practically every household on the planet. One day, at my friend Adri’s house, we dreamed out loud and it occurred to us that it would be great to automate homes… with a PlayStation 2.
Introduction One of the most anticipated features of the Raspberry Pi 5 was the availability of a PCI Express port. This port opens up a range of possibilities, and one of the most notable is the option to swap the less robust SD memory card, especially against unexpected shutdowns, for an NVME hard drive.
Preparation and SSD Choice As soon as I knew I would receive the Raspberry Pi 5, I began searching for a good option to install an SSD.
